Biography of

Roger W. Kramer-

Bio of Roger W. Kramer

Born in Springfield, Ohio and raised on a farm in Pitchin Ohio,  Roger is married and has three children. He currently works at Honda of America, Mfg., Inc. in Marysville, Ohio as a coordinator.                                                                    

The Author proudly served with the United States Coast Guard for five years on the USCGC YACONA, USCGC KANAWHA, USCGC POLAR STAR AND THE USCGC EAGLE. His last duty station was in Toledo, Ohio, where he was in charge of a 41' and 22' rescue boat for the last two years of his enlistment. Moving back home to be close to family, he took a job with Honda, but remained in the Reserves.

In November of 1990, he was activated for Operation Desert Shield/Storm/Sword, serving proudly with Port Security Unit 302 in Manama, Bahrain. He is a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 1031, Springfield, Ohio.

Roger has a deep interest in the Roman Empire, but likes to look at the underside of the culture, mainly slavery and how the society, as it tried to learn how to live in a civilized manner.

The Law of the Twelve Tablets is factual and is some of the bases for this book.

Roger likes to study knots and has made several Marlinspike Seamanship artwork that won first and second place at the local art museum. He will try to post pictures at a later time.

This is a picture of Sir Phantom, our black German Shepherd that was the bases of Yin and Yang in my book. He was our best friend and we miss him terribly. I will try to post a picture of Max, our new German Shepherd that we adopted from a rescue.

Here are the pictures I promised on Max. Try to get the basketball from him. He is probably one of the few German Shepherds in Spfld. with a waterbed. He also lets us sleep there sometimes too.
